Scottsdale, AZ – Beginning in May of 2016 Crest Insurance Group will expand its newly formed “Crest Cares” services directly to the non-profit community. Crest, well known for its own philanthropy, intends to strengthen and develop its existing relationships with local charities by providing them access to specifically designed insurance programs. Crest has outstanding relationships with both national and regional insurance companies to bring specialized resources and programs to Southern Arizona in support of our vibrant and critical not for profit sector.

Crest COO JB Shockey said “Our philosophy as an agency has always been to support the community and in giving to these charities we realize first hand how valuable they are to so many people. It only made sense to develop a way to help charitable organizations stay viable and reduce expenses.”

Crest is reacting to a growing need from many boards and CFO’s to manage risk and exposure. Too often liability and the threat of subsequent litigation prevents non-profits from growth and development. Crest hopes to educate and protect organizations so that board members and volunteers can continue to make a difference.
