Who We Are

Crest Insurance Group is a new name on the insurance landscape in southern Arizona, but our roots go deep. Crest is the continuation of agencies that go back to 1975 when Bob Mueller founded Mueller & Associates from the remnants of a savings and loan owned agency named United Palomar. Bob and his group sold Mueller & Associates to Compass Bank in 2003. Then Compass Bank was acquired by BBVA, a multinational bank based in Spain in 2007.

June 1, 2010 a group of senior members of the firm, headed by Cody Ritchie, our president, acquired the agency from BBVA Compass Bank and we formed the Crest Insurance Group.

We are locally owned and southern Arizona based but we are national in scope. We service accounts throughout the US in several specialized industries. We are a full service agency providing property, casualty, employee benefits, bonding, life and personal lines insurance.

Our producers experience is both broad and deep. We have a number of producers that have been with the agency for over 30 years with broad product expertise. On the other end of the spectrum, we have a number of young, bright, energetic and knowledgeable agents that will offer you cutting edge solutions to your insurance needs.

We have specialized knowledge and experience in handling accounts in the Senior Care, Transportation industries and Golf Courses.
